Subject: dry exercises
Question helo jessica! i am competative triathle and would like to ask you a question. what are the best dry exercises for faster swimming? and also is it sufficient to practice only with bodylastic or an athlete have to practice in gym? thanks a lot, all the best!
Answer Hi goran, I just started working on triathlon training myself actually. Ok so you do not have to limit yourself to the gym at all, the best workouts come from outdoor training (remember our bodies were not made to sit at an arm machine for half an hour at a time). If you want t increase your speed in the water I would suggest focusing on your mid section and workout to your arms and legs. Squats around pool deck before each session of your workout combined with some elastic pulls to work on bi and triceps should show steady improvement. Also swimming is a lengthening sport, yoga has always helped prevent injury and keep you concentrated on technique. Now you could do me a favor, do you know a good site to order affordable biking attire? Let me know if you need any more help.
