Question my current in ground pool has a Centurian 2 speed motor SF 1.1 2 HP .33 My pool guy says the part with gasket and seal will cost him $450.00 and he will charge me approx another $150.00 to install. He gave me a few days to decide or if i can find the motor cheaper, i can get it and it will decrease my cost. He had looked to switch to a 1 speed motor but the way the pool company set it up i would need to amke many expensive changes. Any suggestions and do you know where i may find this motor?? I have searched the web without any success. Thank you in advance.

Answer I found that motor for $300.00 on line.I think hes trying to get a extra 100 dollars.Order it yourself on line.Pool pump motor, frame, HP Type of shaft screw or keyed,2 speed,is whats needed.I don't see anything of extra work that their would be by going to a single speed motor.{what changes]???Lynn
