Question i just bought new intex pool 15x48, all my levels were good on my test strip except the ph was on the low norm so i put some ph into pool and put it through skimmer and maybe a little too much the pool went milky, and did not clear 48 hrs later, can see floating white stuff in pool. took my water to proffessional place and was told my levels were all good, have been cleanong filter every 6 hrs last 18 hrs. what else can i do. i know filter not great for these pools. should i put clarifierin pool. and wondering if this ever happens or did i do something wrong, thankyou,
Answer Whenever I have a cloudy problem I do this.make sure chemistry is correct,filter is backwashed for 2 minutes rinse 25 seconds.At evening double shock the pool [not the instant swim type]put all vac equipment in the shallow end.Run filter for 3 hours.Shut off filter.Vacuum in the morning.Backwash filter and rinse.Add clarifier and revac the next day.Lynn
