Question
We are new pool owners, but we don't know how to use the vaccuum to clean the pool.

Answer
Hi, First you can vacuum to waste or vacuum to filter by moving selector on filter.  To vacuum to filter attach hose and pole to filter head submerge pole in water in the opposite end of the skimmer, stretch the hose out across the pool to the inlet and fill the hose with water from the inlet.  Bubbles will come out of the vacuum head when hose is full of water and all the air is out.  Remove the basket and skimmer float (flapper).  Attach the hose to skimmer with adaptor or directly in the skimmer hole.  Pressure on filter should return to normal on pressure gage.  Once the pressure is back to normal your good to go.  If pressure is low or does not return this means there is air in the hose.  Try again.  Refill the hose etc.  Vacuum the pool slowly and in 3 to 4 foot areas.  Once your done just unhook the hose and replace skimmer basket and flapper.  If vacuuming heavy debris (leaves) you will have to check and or empty the filter baskets.  If vacuuming algae you need to vacuum to waste, put filter in vacuum to waste setting. If anything is unclear please ask.Lynn
