Subject: Using flocculant in my pool

Question
my pool is a bluish cloudy. we can't get it clear. our local pool store told us to drop it out and use flocculant in it. so we are waiting to vacuum it. it hasn't quiet been 24 hours yet. But i can look at it and it doesn't look any better right now. is it possible that my ph didnt stay up? they told me to get my ph up to 8.4

Answer
I think this blue is coming from metals in your pool they have a remover for this be sure to follow directions as chlorine needs to be near 0.If it is blue/green from algae your sides will be slimy, you need to shock. If none of these coagulant will work.Lynn[I don't think your PH is affecting it.]
