QUESTION: had trouble with backwash leaking 1st then replaced spider gasket thats when the low pressure began when backwashing. also that didnt stop the leak..so we returned the spider gasket nothing seemed to be wrong with that, replaced the handle but still problem with backwash since changing spider gasket. everthing else looked fine..any other suggestions?
Answer Yes if everything looks ok,your sure gasket isn't slipping[sometimes I've had to use a sealant on it to prevent it from moving. One thing you say low pressure on backwashing, you mean low flow pressure coming out your drain hose right?Do you have good pressure on filter coming out your return?
