Question our above ground pool has turned a horrible green color like a nasty pond! our pool guy told us to backflush alot and that our chemicals were all testing perfect and not to add a thing to it our chlorine is a little high but he said it was still safe to swim in just make sure we take a shower when we get out so our hair dont turn green please help us this is driving us crazy!!! if we floc it and that dont work what do you think we are going to have to do to fix this green water problem. do you think we will have to empty the pool and start all over????
Answer If you have green water your chemicals had to be off sometime.Are the sides slimy?The only other thing that can make your water a blue/green is metal in the water,the sides won't be slimy and its more of a haze than nasty green.Read my past answers on shocking your pool at night.Lynn
