Expert: Manish J.Joshi - 10/31/2009
Question Our pool is just 5 yrs. old. It has pebble tec and a rust spot is developing. It appears to be coming from the bottom-up, and spreading. It is not the result of a penny, or hair barrette. It is splotchy, and is currently about 12" by 4". Do i need to drain the pool and treat this stain, and how? Our pool is a combo dive pool and play pool...totals 44,000 gallons. thanks for any insight,
Debbie
Answer First of all check the pH and other parameters Since If the parameters change can only induce this incidence
Since even if you remove the stain if parameters not as per requirement then no point it removing the stain
Since prevention is better than cure
