Question Ok here are my pool specs and please no laughing. :-)
Just purchased a pool for my kids:
Quickset 10'x30" 900 gallon pool.
GPH FLOW: 580
I just got the Chlorine level at the desired setting 1.0-1.5
However, the ph is at 6.8. Because I don't know what to add to get the ph up.
I need to come up with some sort of routine/maintenance to keep this pool up and running. It's a great pool for the kids. What should I be doing on a weekly/bi-weekly schedule to keep this pool going?
I know that every week I have to put in a new 1" chlorine tablet and I also let my pump run at least 2 hrs. per day. I also have a cover that I put on when the pool is not in use.
Thanks for your help.

Answer Use PH +,once you get everything correct weekly adjustments maybe weekly or so.Always add about half and then recheck the next day.Youll know how many of those chlorine tabs to add almost without checking unless unusually high temperatures.Get a small phamplet for free at your pool store or go to the library or online and read on taking care of your pool.Lynn
