Swimming Pool & Spa Construction & Maintenance - spa pump problems

Expert: Lynn bellay - 9/7/2009

Question
We just drained our spa, refilled it, turned it on and the spa motors come on but water doesn't circulate.

Answer
After I clean a spa I put the plug back in and from the inside of the tub I locate the water INLET,I put my hose around it[use a rag to seal it and force water back into the tub for 3 or 4 minutes or until it won't take anymore. You may still try this or you will need to break the connection on the out side of the pump to prime it.Lynn
