Subject: our trip to Switzerland
Question Judith, so sorry about the delay. Our computer has been down. We are now up and running again...so here are the changes:
the trip has been moved to July 2009. We will arrive in Zurich on the 27th and leave on the 1st of August for our drive to Lake Como.
So, the itinerary needs to be built around being based in Zurich, doing day trips and packing a lot in. We have a car and are four spry-sixty somethings. So, the Rhine Falls in Neuhaussen is a must. Added to that, we would love guidance....Interlaken, Lucerne, Grindewald, where else? Thank you, Judith.
Answer Hi LeeAnn, nice to hear back from you.
Here is a draft itinerary I put together, trying to get in as much as possible and making it diversified and interesting... Am hoping this is what you are looking for. If it looks feasible (and interesting) and you would like hotel/restaurant recommendations, I will be happy to pass on any personal recommendations that I can, based on your budget if you like. If there is some other destinations you absolutely want to include please let me know.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
All the best
