Dear Judith,
I am currently studying in UK and have a UK student visa and wish to go to Switzerland for a weekend or so. I know that UK residents can go to Switzerland without any visa, but I have Russian passport. So, I wanted to ask if i have to apply for visa or no?

I am really not sure what the requirements are, so my suggestion is to call the Swiss Embassy in England and ask them what the current status is. I'm sure they will be glad to help you!
