Subject: Query about Pass and Peaks with 1 year baby
Question I will be travelling along with my wife and kid to Interlaken for 3 days i.e. from 15 Aug to 17 Aug. I will be travelling from Zurich to Interlaken on 15th and back to Zurich on 17th. I am planning for 1 or 2 peaks near Interlaken (Titlis/Schilthorn). As we have a 1 year kid please help to choose the correct pass. I have read about Tell-Pass,Half Fare Card,Flexi Pass but could not decide. Please advice looking at my schedule.
Also I have read in websites threads about babies need to be taken below 2500m. Which peaks are advisable?
Answer Hello!!
thanks for your question.
please see here the link in english about medical recommendations

please read carefully, re specific ailments, but it looks like healthy babies can make short visits, with special care about their ears re air pressure...
here is the panorama with heights for your reference

If you are taking the train from ZH to I'laken and Back and visiting Jungfrau then there is a regular Swiss Rail ticket available for only 3 days validity that you buy at the train station in Zurich for CHF 280.80 per person, the baby is free...
The Swiss Saver Flexipass is only for the usual train routes/bus routes but the Jungfrau would be additional. So you really save with the regular ticket above.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need more info.
Have a great trip!
Judith
