Subject: HDTV settings

Question
My 65 inch Toshiba is 1080p, but now my settings are 480i on HD stations.  How do I get them back to 1080i or 1080p?

Answer
Read the manual for the settings.  Most of the newer models are automatic and will set the scan to the signal coming in.

Without knowing your model number I cannot give you a precise answer. However, most Toshiba HD sets have a button on the remote called "Pic Size" which allows you to index through 5 different settings for the picture. It will take it through 480i, 480p and 1080i, etc. depending on what your set supports.  So, try that and see if that doesn't get you going.

Let me know if you need more....  and give me the model number of the set you have.

Good Luck,
C
