Topic: TV/VCR/Stereo Troubleshooting

Subject: one track repeat won't turn off and no remote

Question
Can anyone please tell me how i can remove a one track repeat with a remote? It use to have one but it had got lost when we moved and no way to remove it. A two year old child went messing with it and now it is there and won't remove. Turning it off and unhooking it won't work either. Could anyone please tell me how to make this disapear

Answer
Sorry, you must have the remote.  You can try a hard reset but I doubt if it will solve the problem. So, try it anyway because it won't hurt anything and it won't cost any money.  Here is how to do a hard reset:  Unplug the power cord on the cd player for at least one hour.  Then plug it back in and try it again.

If you give me the make and model I can give you some other suggestions but I must know the model number.  (For example, some sets have a routine for pressing two buttons on the front panel at once that will activate certain functions.  You can try some and see what happens.)

Hope this helps.
