Question
I am looking to buy a new TV and would like to know which is better, LCD or Plasma ? Looking at maybe 42 to 50 inch wide screen. What are best makes to consider ?

Answer
Joey,

I won't answer your question as technologies now are SO SO SO close together, make it a comparison ot specs and models.

I suggest you get the highest resolution you can afford, together with the highest brightness.

If you might move houses soon, get a Plasma as it stands the move better.

Myself I was considering a 50" (maybe Pioneer, Sony or LG) of 15,000 brightness (apologies I don't remember whqat is the measuring unit)
with 2 HDMI inputs and digital receiver built-in (for digital terrestrial DVB broadcast)

Good luck

N George
