Question
my friend gave me a lg 32 inch lcd tv with a cracked screen but everything else works on it. the model number is 32LC4D. is their any way to get a replacement screen and if so where? thank you!

Answer
This set has a tft lcd panel display. It is composed of many layers and it depends on what layers are "cracked".  If the crack is going all the way through then the entire display will need to be replaced as they cannot be repaired.  The cost is essentially the cost of a new set or more plus the labor to make the change out!

If just the first layer is cracked, which is a transparent protective coating that goes over the surface, it can be replaced for not  so much; maybe $50 to $100.

But, I think you might want to take it to an LCD/Zenith repair facility and let them look at it and give you advice once they have examined the damage to the display elements.

Hope this helps and come back with further questions if you need.
