Question
How can I get a manual for this model?  I think my convergence is off and I wanted to know how to adjust it with the remote.

Answer
Too late now, but when you purchase any electronic product you should alway keep the owners manual.  This model is old enough that Magnavox no longer supports it online.  You can, however, contact their support hotline by going to magnavox.com and following the support linkages. I looked around for the manual online and could not find it anywhere.

Convergence is accessed through the menu.   When you go into the on-screen menu you should be able to navigate your way to a convergence setup.  Many of them are auto adjust once you get into the menu, but older ones require you to manually adjust the cross hairs to bring the colors all together.

Now:  Usually, when the convergence is off and will not correct and especially when the picture sort of looks like 3-D it is a failure of the convergence circuit and requires replacement of one or two Integrated Circuits inside the convergence board.  The cost of repair is always $300 to $400.  If the set is getting old you might not want to spend such a large sum on repairing it.

Now more: This set is known for coolant leaks which also make for a picture that could look like it is out of focus or convergence.  If so, you should not operate the tv until the coolant is replaced and the leak fixed.  This coolant goes on front of each of the projection tubes and its purpose is to keep the tube cool.  The liquid can leak out or get contaminated and cause fuzzy appearances of the picture.
Fixing the coolant problem is less expensive than the convergence circuits.

Let me know if this provokes more questions.
