Question Our display has disappeared and the manual does not state how to fix it?
Answer It's an old set. Intended for down-under market.
The cost of repair - if they have parts available any more - will be more than just purchasing a new vcr.
Fixing it caused by either loss of voltage from the power supply or the display itself has gone bad. Either way parts and labor would be over $80USD. You should buy a new unit; that is my recommendation.
But, if you are intent on trying to fix it let me know more and I will give you some advice. (Also, see what www.fixer.com has to offer you for this model, if anything).
