Question
Hello,

I just bought a 65inch Mitsubishi tv and I'm trying to connect my HDMI cable to my DishTV receiver model number VIP622 DVR.  I connect the two but I get no picture.  The TV acts if it's not receiving a signal. HELP!

Answer
Should work just fine.  You must have it setup correctly for it to recognize the incoming signal however.

Dish has a good user guide for your model online.  Check it out, if you have not already done so.

Same for the Mitsubishi tv.

Try a composite or component connection to see if that goes through.

Surely, it is in the setup and sequencing of the loading.  Some of the older Dish receivers required some detailed setup procedures; the newer ones are more automatic.

Maybe give a call to the Dish support people and ask for some advice and/or Mitsubishi if you can't solve it from the suggestions above.

Hope there is no problem with the hardware.
