Question I have a Philips 30PW9110D/37. It worked great for about 8 months but now it just freezes up. The power will be on but we will lose audio and video. Sometimes it will just do nothing, sometimes we will have just audio but the screen will freeze. The problem is always temporary and within a couple minutes it will work again, but it happens frequently. Sometimes it will malfunction after working correctly for only 4 or 5 minutes. Very frustrating. Any idea what the problem is?
Answer i would say odds are it is the main system control board in the tv going bad. testing is needed to be sure. a repair cost might range around 500-600 for the repair.
