Our KD-30XS955 2005 Sony Trinitron Color TV that we bought on 1/08/06 will click when the on button is pushed and appears to be turning on, but the LED standby/timer light only blinks 20 times and then goes dead. The TV never actually turns on. We've checked the connections, etc, but no luck. Any ideas what could be wrong and whether taking it to our local service repair shop would be cost effective? I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!
Answer sounds like you are having a power supply problem. this is common on your model. this is a great model tv and well worth a repair.i would have it looked at for sure.
