Question
Sony Wide Screen Projection TV KP-57WS500, Year Made Aug 2002
The red lens does not seem to line up with rest of the colors. When you are sitting in front of the television the colors are off on the left side. We have tried the auto adjust and that did nothing. All the lens were replaced 3 years ago. Have had no trouble with the television since then. Turned the television on and the picture has shadows. Example: a persons body is normal however on the left side there is another outline of the of the body in red. I would like to know if it is possible to realign the pictures tubes myself.

this is a common problem and you are in need of a repair. your convergence circuit in the tv is bad and can not be adjusted. the circuit in the tv will have to be fixed first.a cost will range around 300.00 for this fix..
