TV/VCR/Stereo Troubleshooting - CROSLEY CP5440

Expert: Rick Montgomery - 11/9/2009

Question
I NEED TO REPLACE THE 2 FRONT SCREENS ON MY CROSLEY 56" TV. IT IS A 1996 MODEL. IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIND PARTS FOR SUCH AN OLD TV? MODEL # IS CP5440

Answer
Jason,
As my profile reflects, I do not work on projection TV's at all, and therefore don not have a list of distributors for PTV parts. I have checked with the distributors that I do have, and none of them recognize this make and model. Given it's age, even if you are able to locate a distributor, it is likely that they will have only the most commonly used parts for the electronics of the set.
regards,
Rick
