Question Hello, I hope you will be able to help me with this.
I have a venturer Rts2628v. It's a DVD VCR combo, and came with five surround sound speakers and a sub woofer.
The VCR part plays VHS's perfectly. The DVD half plays the dvd's, but the dialouge between characters is totally silent. The background music can be heard, but not the talking. I do not have the extra surround sound speakers plugged in, could this be the problem? Or is it just the set up?
Thanks for at least reading this, I hope you can help me.
Thanks!
Answer Kat,
Venturer is a very low end brand. It is not supported with parts or service information. But with you having told me that you don't have all of your speakers hooked up, yes, that could be your problem. I don't know why you don't have all of them hooked up, but try at least hooking up your CENTER speaker. That is where most of the dialogue is sent to.
Hope this helps you.
regards,
Rick
