Question What can I do to make my tv picture more clear and get the coloring right.
Answer If you would give make and model number we can give you very clear instructions.
However, here is general idea: Go into on-screen-menu and make adjustments to brightness, color and contrast, etc. These controls should clear up basic picture problems.
If you are on antenna connection you may need to adjust the antenna or obtain one that will get a better signal from the station transmitters.
If you are on cable it could be the cable company not sending a good signal or you may not have a good connection to it.
If the picture looks 3-D with color registration shifted (and your set is a RPTV type) the convergence circuit has gone bad and you will need a repair (usually around $300 to $400).
If the adjustments do not go far enough to bring the color or contrast to the right settings you can increase the settings by going into the service mode and get greater adjustment range. You can learn how to get into the service mode at: www.fixyourowntv.com and other similar sites that you can google for.
Then, let me know more after reading through these ideas.
