Question The polaroid tv set bought 2 years ago has recently started to make a high-pitched sound and no picture for at least 15 minutes before becoming watchable. Please advise, thank you. D
Answer Doris,
This is usually an easy repair involving 2 1000 MFD electrolytic capacitors that vent due to excessive voltage, as they are only rated a 10 volts initially. The repair will require soldering. Do you have any technical skills, tools and test equipment, soldering equipment and skills? If so, let me know, and I will proceed to the next step.
regards,
Rick
