Question I have a Panasonic HDTV Projection PT53WX53, manufactored in Oct 04. The TV went out the other day, now when I hit the power button, the red light flashes 3 times. If I unplug it from the wall, then hit the power button, I hear sound (no picture) for approximately 5 seconds before it shuts off. Is this something I can repair myself or is it worth having it fixed? Thanks for your help.
Answer this is the convergence circuit gone bad. it is very common on your model. a repair cost will range around 400.00. this is a good model and well worth a repair.
