Question Sony KF-42WE610 LCD projection, manufactured Dec 2003 - There is a deep blue shadow on far right side of screen, top to bottom, anywhere from 3 to 6 inches wide. Has curved shape and slowly changes in width/shape, but remains on right side. Also, probably a couple of hundred "pin point" blue dots in middle of screen, like the stars at night. Number of dots seem to increase as time goes by. Very frustrating.
Answer this is a bad optical engine. i am sorry to say it would cost around 800 for a repair. this is not really worht it.
