QUESTION: I have a 2002 hitachi 53 inch projection tv model number 53fdx20b. Was watching one night when it made a sound and smelt as if something was burning. Then the only colors the tv would show is green and pink. I hope it is something i can fix. If it is can you please tell me what to do and what to buy to fix it. Thanks for your time!!!!!

QUESTION: Do not have the tv at my house it is in storage. Just trying to fix it to sell in a garage sell. Wondering if it was anything worth fixing or if i shoud just get rid of it. Any idea of what it could be? Sorry i cant get a picture of it and advise would be greatly apprciated. Thanks again
if the all the inputs like DVD are also pink? then a repair cost might range 300-400.
