Question
Hi, I bought this TV in the US and wonder if I can take it with me back to Europe (230 volts). All the manuals don't specify if 230 volts is ok. Part number for the power supply appears to be Bn96-00249a but I didn't find voltage specs here either.

Can you help me with this question?

Thanks!

Answer
The USA version of this product will not work on 220 or 230 vac.  If you use it in Europe you will need a converter such as a step down transformer to bring the voltage down to 115 volts.

The frequency is 50Hz in EU which is lower than it is in US but should be okey to use without trouble.

PS: Example of transformer is at:

Near bottom of the page.

There are many available; this is just one that will work.
