TV/VCR/Stereo Troubleshooting - no signal

Expert: cleggsan - 7/4/2009

Question
using a G.E. converter box with roof antenna, TV set has been working great since I connected it, have 3 other TV's using the same antenna all working fine..I ran another coax line from other TV with splitter, still No Signal
Could it be the TV ? Sylvania 15" Digital/Analog LCD TV purchased 06/07 , When I rurn on Conv Box & TV  screen shows, Now Scanning.. & then 1, check antenna connection
2, did you perform auto preset ch? 3. Refer to manual for Support info. Not enough there ? been working great for months..got some great new channels.???

Answer
You lost me.  Do you have 4 tvs connected to one converter box and one antenna?

Is the Sylvania 15" the only one not showing video?  It is a digital one so have you tried connecting it directly to the antenna and letting it scan for digital signals?  If it works when directly connected to the antenna with the other sets not connected then when you connect the other sets the signal deteriorates to the level it will not lock up then you need either more antennas to feed all the sets or a preamp to bring the level up enough to keep the set fired.

Let me know if there is more to the story.
