Question It is a Sony KD-34XBR910
I've had my Sony HD WEGA XBR 34" widescreen for a good 2 years now and never had
a problem with it. I've just recently moved it to a new location and everything
on the TV seems to work, but when I hook up multiple devices to it's video inputs
it starts to mess up. It never use to have a problem before I moved it. I Have a
DVR that hooks to it via Component, a PS3 that hooks via Component, and then a
computer via DVI. It seems that the video itself is kicking on and off and faded
lines are running up the picture. But as soon as I disconnect 2 of the 3 the
picture comes back to normal. Also I can hear a faint sound of noise coming through the speakers when multiple items are hooked up to it. It's as if the videos are crossing within each
other. I've tried switching my ps3 to the regular A/V cord and it still messes
up. Any idea what it might be and how much it might cost to fix it ?
Thanks,
Ken
Answer Hmmmm, that's a tricky one!!
Maybe it's a faulty lead?
Maybe it's a dry solder?
Try connecting 2 of the 3 devices and check that the problem is not related to one of them.
If you can't locate a fault I guess you'll have to call a repairman.
