Question You'll luv this one..Had some type of circular, off color, double shadow like picture/line near top left of screen..dirty lens's I thought. Took lens off & cleaned..THEN found another one..red glass type...yep..the one that holds some type of oil in the tube. Did not know not to take that one off..but did and loss "little" oil. None got onto anything, but I put the lens back on and it doesn't cover/fill the whole lens area. After beating myself up I decided to set the back of the tv, which holds a large mirror in it, back onto tv and move it off to the side until I can figure out what to do with tube. (figuring I can find fluid and top off tube and put lens back on) Yep again..mirror compartment fell off tv and broke mirror. HELP!! Where do I find new mirror..cheap and what to do with tube. Some repairman said $500 for new tube...another said if not much fluid loss can try to top off and see if work. Please tell me what to do, where can I find oil, or should I save my money and put toward one of them new wall tv's? Thank's for your patience in read and help.

the real problem still remains in the tv and that is the convergence circuit is in need of a repair. plus a mirror and a tube fill. the real question is can you solder good??pulling the tube and refilling it is not a real big deal. a new mirror we can have cut by a glass store. so the real question is can you solder good?
