Question
QUESTION: this is the LCD rear projection tv.  the cooling fan is making noise.  when we first purchased the tv, the fan would run, however, we could not hear it.  now it seems the fan is making alot of noise.  any suggestions?  the tv is 4 or 5 years old.

ANSWER: Start by cleaning the fan and maybe give it a WD40 spray (remember to be safe electrically) and if problem persists consider replacing it.

Good luck

QUESTION: can you tell me how to get to the fan?  is there more than one fan?  if it needs replaced, can you suggest a place to get a replacement?  thank you for your help.

Answer
Charles,

Apologies I am not into TV repair at all but I took it by similarity to computer fans, having said that I suggest you call a repairman if you're not into that kind of hobby!!
You can also try posting your question and hear from others as well.

Good luck

N George
