Question
I have a ~2yr old TV Philips 19" that the picture turns off after about 6 seconds but if you switch channels it come back on for 6 more seconds. The TV's power is on but the picture is Black /no picture. If you turn TV on, it works again but only 6 second s or so then off again no picture but TV is still on.

Answer
High voltage power supply has failed.  This set is not worth fixing.  Why?  Because you can purchase a good, new 19 or 20 inch set for under $100.  But you cannot get this one fixed for that much.

Sorry for the bad news.
