TV/VCR/Stereo Troubleshooting/Repair of a 13 year old Mitsubishi television

Question
We have a 13 year old Mitsubishi CS-35301 television set that is no longer working correctly.  The picture on the screen is shrinking... everything else seems to be working just fine - just the picture is slowly going away.  It started at the bottom of the screen then moved up - now it is shrinking from the top as well.  Is this fixable?  Are the parts attainable?
Thanks for your help in this matter!

Answer
Catherine,
Most likely the vertical output section is at fault. Several things may be the cause of the shrinking screen, 1-A failing vertical output IC. 2-failing or leaky feedback capacitors. 3, Defective soldering connections on the pins of the vertical output IC. As far as parts go, yes they should be available.
