Subject: Sylvania TV to Philips dvd/vcr

Question
I want to play movies on my philips dvd/vcr, but don't know how to connect it to my Sylvania TV. I have the cord with the red, white , and yellow outlets(don't know what they are called. I do  not have any instruction booklets cause they were both given to me. It worked where I used to live, but isn't working anymore. They both turn on, but won't play a movie. Please help if you can.

Answer
Carley,

Assuming that your TV has got an AV input (yellow for video and white and red for stereo audio so they call it Audio-Video) so assuming that your TV has AV input and knowing that your DVD-VCR combo does have AV out, it should be as simple as connecting in between them then selecting the input through a button on the TV remote which could be called Input or AV or similar.

Good Luck

N George
