Subject: lcd tv dvd hook up gone wrong?

Question
hooking up "supersonic" dvd player to 32" emprex lcd using rca (5 cables yr/cb ect) reads out of range no pic or audio can hook up with s video and have pic and sound but want to use s video with another component

Answer
Clint, it sounds to me like either non-supported format by the Tv or maybe wrong lead and/or connection.
RGB connection relies on 3 RCA leads for the supply of video signal alone and another 2 for the Audio.
You need to respect the color sequence for RGB and there might be a menu option to use on the DVD player and it goes without saying that you have to select the right input on the TV.
Get back to me with more information if still no luck

Regards

N George
