Subject: magnavox tube

Question
i have a 4 or 5 yr old  36"(?) magnavox tube.  it has just acquired a slight inward curvature at the top 4 or 5 inches of the screen.  perfect match on both sides.  color is good. tried the unplug/reset thing.  kids said last night while doing some channel/menu surfing (wrestling/playing) a strange menu popped up that they had never seen before.  coincidence?  any ideas.

Answer
I am aware of hidden menus on TVs replacing the old knobs in the back of the tubes, probably this is what they referred to but it needs a certain button sequence to trigger it, not sure if TV is playing up or what ???
As for the curvature, it would have still been the hidden menus to try and fix it.

N George
