Subject: sanyo t.v. input channel.

Question
I'm trying to set up my "trutech" dvd player to my "sanyo" t.v. all of the inputs are connected but I can't find the input channel on the t.v. to view the dvd. The other problem is that I have a "one for all" remote (since my sanyo remote has been lost)and the new remote has no "video/input" button. Therefore, I can't seem to find the input channel. I have pushed the menu button that is directly on the t.v. and done the channel search/setup option and still no input channel can be found. What else is there for me to do so that I can view the dvd? Please help. Thanks in advance!!

Answer
Anna,

When you go thru the search options, TV is looking at the RF input not the AV inputs so it won't get the DVD, you need to pick the right code on the universal remote in order to be able to access the inputs on TV.
Try a different code for the same TV brand.
Also it helps to browse the internet Forums talking about this universal remote in particular.

Good Luck

N George
