Question
We will be organizing a TT tournament soon. There are 14 signed up so far to play. What are the special rules for tournaments concerning serving order, legal serves, and scoring?
Also, what is a good format for the tournament, round robin, or single or multiple elimanation?
Thanks for your help.
Ron

Answer
Dear Ron:

Sorry for delaying my reply but I was out of town and I just forgot to change my status in the table tennis page.

There're no "special" rules for tournaments. Table Tennis rules are the same for single games and for tournaments. It's a 21-point game and you change the serve every 5 points.

As for the format, I recommend multiple elimenation as it is only around 14 players participating.

Have fun & don't hesitate to request further assistance.

Yours Sincerely,
Macarious Abadeer
