Question
What can I do to get better at table tennis and beat the pants off my husband?  We  play twice a week for one hour and he always beats me by a few points.

Susan

Answer
Hi Susan,

This is actually an interesting question. Everybody has weak points and strong points. The first thing I recommend is to notice what his weak points are to make advantage of them and what his strong points are to avoid them. For example, his forehand might be more efficient than his back hand then play more on his back hand. Basically concentrate on the places on the table where he's less likely to get the ball. If he only wins by small difference so I guess that should be enough in order for you to win. I'd also say smash less and only concentrate on keeping the ball going to his weak sides.

Thank you very much for using our service.

Sincerely,
