Question
I am going to be going to the National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan and I am unsure about wearing jeans. I love wearing jeans but at the same time I have no problem dressing up it's just that I wonder how normal is it to wear jeans in Taiwan or if it will make me stand out? How low cut can shirts be before it's considered obscene? What colors are considered offensive and if I can only wear bright colors during a festival? What type of shoes would you recommend for walking around? [Not for dressing up. How expensive is Taiwan on a whole? I am going to be staying for a year, how much would you recommend for additional expenses?

Thanks!

[I know I went overboard, gomen nasai]
