Question I really don't know what to send with my daughter. she is going with her college dance group and will be touring Taiwan for about a week. do I give her travelers checks or can she use her own visa card to get cash? What would be best? Also should I get her hepatitis shots before?

My suggestion is : 1. she can use visa card in some stores (top priority)
2. exchange for some NTD(new Taiwan dollars) when she arrives the CKS international airport. She can exchange in the airport.(maybe NTD 3000-5000 or more= USD 100-150,expenses for 2 or 3 days)
3. bring some travelers checks. she can get cash by the checks in the banks, or in some hotels.
4. we can not use credit card to get cash. It is risky and illegal. Don’t do that.
5.as for hepatitis shots. Our environment is better now. It is still good to get hepatitis B shot. If she will go to other countries like china …, it is better to get one more shot:hepatitis A shot.
