Question
We are a U.S. based recruiting firm.

How can I locate permanent placement Employment Agencies in Taiwan?

Answer
Hi.

A couple of employment agencies are listed under Human Resources on the U.S. Commercial Services Taiwan site here:

http://www.buyusa.gov/taiwan/en/businessserviceproviders.html

The Commerce Department folks will also be able to help you locate additional employment agencies. I would suggest that you contact them via the contact form on the above site. You might also try finding the office of the local Commercial Services center for your region (see http://www.buyusa.gov/home/us.html) - they are often helpful for companies looking for information on companies abroad.

The Taiwan Country Commercial Guide for 2008 will also have additional contact information for others that would be able to help you locate additional employment agencies:

http://www.export.gov/mrktresearch/index.asp

You will have to register with the U.S. Commercial Service (free) to get access to the Country Commercial Guide, but it also gives you access to any number of reports on overseas markets.

Good luck!
