About John A. Troland
Expertise
I have owned a television show production company, Trobray Television Productions,LLC since 1994. I produce a live one hour cable access call-in show by the name of Business Beat Live that airs in Connecticut. I can answer questions as to how to produce your own cable access show; how to get great guests, how to promote your show; how to write press releases for your show; how to get show volunteers; should you have a show co-host; should you use paid advertising to promote a special guest; suggest books, videos and publications useful as reference works to produce a quality show and invite selected individuals who respond to allexperts.com to be a guest on a "live" Business Beat Live tv show and receive "how to" suggestions and a critique of their on show appearance.

Experience
have produced Business Beat Live tv show since May, 1995; produced
some 85 Chamber Happenings shows for local Chamber of Commerce

Question

I'd like to know your best advice on how to get super-high-quality guests booked for my talk show which we tape here in New York City.

Also, how to attract the best volunteers to help/work on the show.

How to get the show onto cable access in New York City and on as many cable systems as possible everywhere else too.

The best ways to promote the show.

Your thoughts on whether I should have a show co-host.

Whether I should use paid advertising to promote the show.

What's the best way to get real talented pro's to help with the production of the show, and video editing of the show.

Answer
Bruce:  Rather than e-mailing you answers to your questions I would rather speak with you personally both to learn more about your show as well as to answer your questions.  My 800# is: 800-840-4320. Please call me and leave a message as to what time during 9-5 next Wednesday we can speak.  Also please e-mail me directly to johntroland@msn.com with a brief summary of your program.  Thanks.
