Question My son's tamagatchi died. We tried the reset button, but cannot get the new egg to hatch. Any advice?

I think it really depends on what version thye tamagotchi is. i think you have to wait for 1 minute for the new egg to re-hatch. i think on the version 2, you have to press the B button and wait 1 minute. im not sure of the new V 3.
