Question My name is Brian. I moved down from Columbus,Ohio about a year ago. I have been staying with my mother and sister and now need to find a place of my own in the Tampa area. Along with a job close to school. I am working right now but It is really hard for me to save money where i am at. My mother is laid of right now a just won't get another job and my sister is no help either. She borrows money from me just as much as my mother does. Well one of my biggest problems is lack of transportation. I am starting school at ITT in June and would like to find a job and a place in that area. I have a best friend wanting to move down to help me out but i need to get things togther on my end first. So my question is where can a guy trying to make it find a helping had with out having kids or a disability? All i need is just alittle bit of help. I am a good strong worker and think i am pretty smart. Just a normal person trying to make it. I just need to get both feet on the ground and get thru school.
Answer There are jobs throughout Tampa Bay for people willing to learn and work hard. Depending upon your interests, there are positions in many fields which would be entry level.
I would start with the Career Office at ITT. See what they suggest. If not there, check the local newspapers and web postings. I see plenty of jobs posted each Sunday.
