My family and I are flying into Tampa to go on a cruise, can you recommend a clean, safe Motel/hotel close to the ships pier? Something Under $100.00. How far is the airport from the pier?

Answer I would hunt on Hotels.com or TBO.com.
There are several hotels downtown by the Channelside district, but I'm never quite sure of rates.
The area is clean and neat and safe, so most hotels in that area would be acceptable. Marriott Waterside is by far the nicest in the region.
